OXYMAT 6/61

Series 6 with a unified concept
They measure oxygen and hydrogen, are used for the sum measurement of hydrocarbons, and for the analysis of noble gases in corrosive gases. We have combined all these devices for extractive process gas analytics in Series 6. You benefit from a unified housing and operating concept.

Specialist for oxygen

The OXYMAT 6 also meets the high standards in demanding applications through modern electronics, ease of operation, and a physical element that is adapted to the measurement task.

Even for the smallest measuring ranges

The SIL 2 classification obtained by OXYMAT 6 makes it easier for plant operators to comply with the often required proof of risk reduction. The OXYMAT 6 measures oxygen using the paramagnetic alternating pressure method. This guarantees perfect linearity and enables parameterization of smallest measuring ranges from 0 to 0.5% (detection limit 50 ppm) up to 0 to 100%, and even 99.5 to 100% in a single device. High-quality materials in the gas channel even enable the analytical devices to be used for measurements of corrosive gas mixtures. The detector unit has no contact with the measuring gas, thus allowing it to be used under harsh conditions while guaranteeing a long service life at the same time.

 Long lifetime

Gas-tight separation of the electronic and physical components when using the field analyzer design with class IP65 protection and a purging gas connection guarantees a long lifetime even under harsh ambient conditions. Moreover, the field device design is also the basic variant for the optional heating feature of the analysis unit for measuring any low-boiling components and for use in hazardous zones

For oxygen standard applications

The OXYMAT 61 is a cost-effective oxygen analyzer for standard applications. The OXYMAT 61 requires ambient air as reference gas. This is supplied by a pump that is integrated into the analyzer housing. Alternatively, pressurized bottle air can be used.

The OXYMAT 61 measures oxygen using the paramagnetic alternating pressure method. This guarantees perfect linearity and allows parameterization of small measuring ranges (0 to 2%) up to 0 to 100% in a single device. The SIL 2 classification obtained by OXYMAT 61 makes it easier for plant operators to comply with the statutory requirements regarding proof of risk reduction.
