Dedicated Outdoor Air Systems

Air-source heat pumps (ASHPs) provide an all-electric heating and cooling solution in Greenheck’s dedicated outdoor air systems (DOAS). ASHPs provide a comfortably ventilated space while meeting decarbonization goals and lowering carbon emissions compared to gas furnaces.

The Heat-Cool Only Control offering is designed to allow third-party control of a packaged direct expansion (DX), heat pump, or indirect gas heat on models RV, RVE, and RVC, while maintaining the safeties of the refrigeration system and heating devices.

An optional microprocessor controller that is factory programmed, wired, and tested prior to shipment. The controller can operate stand-alone or integrated with a Building Management System (BMS) using BACnet MS/TP or IP, or Modbus RTU or IP protocols. This controller is responsible for operating the unit in a safe and energy efficient manner while controlling temperature.

Pre-engineered rooftop ventilators deliver fresh outside air to a building that is tempered and dehumidified for space comfort. This unit is ideal for 100% outdoor air, variable air volume, and single zone applications.

Pre-engineered rooftop unit incorporates a total enthalpy core that provides both sensible and latent heat transfer and meets ASHRAE 90.1 minimum efficiencies. As the enthalpy core has no moving parts, the need for mechanical maintenance and repair is greatly reduced. The unit is ideal for commercial, institutional, and industrial applications requiring low cross leakage and minimal maintenance. Heating and cooling options are then provided downstream of the enthalpy core to provide additional tempering and dehumidification.

Pre-engineered rooftop unit features a total enthalpy wheel that rotates between two airstreams while transferring both sensible (heat) and latent (moisture) energy. Ideal for applications requiring high percentages of outdoor air, the enthalpy wheel offers up to 80% total effectiveness significantly reducing the heating and cooling capacity requirements for lower operating costs. Heating and cooling options are then provided downstream of the enthalpy wheel to provide additional tempering and dehumidification.

Greenheck's microprocessor controller comes standard with a web user interface allowing the unit to be viewed and controlled from a web browser. With an Ethernet connection from the RV, RVE, or RVC unit to the facilities network, a full graphic, specific to the unit selected, will allow for monitoring and control of the unit without a building management system (BMS). Other features include full control display access, customizable data trending, and service contact information.
